"Hi, My name is Holly. My husbands name is Damon and we have three little boys.
 
Our eldest son Haven was unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukaemia in December 2021, a couple of weeks before his 5th birthday. The start of Haven’s intensive treatment could only be done at the Queensland Children's Hospital which required our family to have to suddenly relocate to Brisbane for an unknown amount of time. We found out about the Leukaemia Foundation accommodation and luckily were able to live there for the first 11 months of Havens treatment fully funded until we could move back to Townsville. Haven is still now receiving on going treatment however as it’s not as often we can fly back and forth to Brisbane.
 
The Leukaemia Foundation assist families who have a family member diagnosed with a blood cancer. They help to relieve the stress and financial burden, they provide subsidised or free (where possible) accommodation to regional and rural patients and their families who have a family member going through blood cancer. They are able to do this through government subsidy where available and the generosity of the community who donate to the Leukaemia Foundation. Not only do they provide assistance with accommodation, but they also provide a range of other services to help families.
 
We hope by raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation they can continue to support many families like ours in the worst of times.
 
100% of ticket sales will be donated. Participants will be divided into 5 teams of 20-25 people. Each team must keep 1 x ski erg, 1 x rower, 1 x air bike & 2 x treadmills running for 60 minutes. The team with the most kms totalled across all machines win the major prize.
