When that 3pm lull comes around and you reach for the biscuits in the cupboard to pull you through. This a nasty habit which many of us are guilty of. We have put together a concoction like no other that has been described by our clients as the “world’s best protein balls”.... she is now my favourite client and she can have 10 gold stars (hehe... girls, you know what I am talking about).
How did I make these balls of delight? Take a look at the simple, healthy and tasty ingredients which combine to make a perfect afternoon snack for yourself and the kids.
1. 1 cup of almond meal
2. 3 Tablespoons of organic peanut butter
3. 1/2 cup of fruit & nut mix
4. 1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
5. 1/4 cup of rice malt syrup
6. 3 scoops of vanilla whey protein
7. 1/4 cup of coconut oil
If the consistency is not wet enough to roll and stick together, add small amounts of rice malt syrup until right.
